In the HAMPTON series, CARL MERTENS from Solingen offers a model made of matt stainless steel, which can also be fitted with a strap as a safeguard against loss thanks to a perforated handle.
A bottle opener is used to open a bottle cap from the neck of the bottle.
And so, with the introduction of the crown clasp in 1893, a patent was applied for.
Now there are various ways to get to the bubbling contents of a bottle. Some even risk their teeth for it. If, on the other hand, you press the edge of the cap on the edge of a table, or even hit it, you expose the contents of the bottle to a possible “gushing”.
